Screened in porches are always popular but they often get used for other purposes and not returned to a state that inspires relaxation!
This porch had become a wood storage area. It did not take long to define the space as a comfortable place to relax and read.
The ladder to the loft storage was moveable so I slid it back and out of the way. Furniture that was crowding another room in the house was relocated to create a welcoming seating area. A tall vase of fresh meadow flowers accentuated the height of the room and was positioned at the focal point as buyers stood at the doorway. An indoor outdoor rug and some artwork finished off the look.
Adding some books encourages buyers to imagine taking a seat and unwinding as they look out at the garden. Dedicated reading areas are increasingly popular with buyers.
